What amount of money do you consider to be a life changing amount of money?

That is pocket change in US , maybe in Walla Walla that works. Inflation is about to explode here in US. Trump wants 0% interest rates. Homes will triple in price. Food will be higher than Biden and gas will head back up. You also will most likely have health issues as you age and I can only imagine those costs in future.

Enough money to buy a modest house outright. Not having to pay rent or a mortgage is a big game changer. For most people it really advances you 20-30 years in life. You could have a pretty good life even if you werent making very good money if you owned your own home.

It would have to be several millions. i have an apartment but a house & back yard in the inner city would be life changing to me and a house just below the tropics. But I would have to have the money to run that and the leisure to enjoy it to be truly life changing.

That depends entirely on how much one already has. I have enough, but a couple million would enable me to buy a nice high-rise condo, fly first class, and stay in better hotels.

~51 cents. With that, I can get a penny souvenir I would normally not be willing to pay for. A 100k would be very life changing. I could use that, along with my savings, to buy a house in full (no debt).
