Nothing, because he knows the GOP efforts at gerrymandering and voter suppression around the country will ensure Republican control.

the problem for trump is if he does something to lure those who are not approving of him he runs the very real risk of alienating his base who do not want him to stray anywhere from the platform and policies he's on at the moment.

i also think that there are a lot of former trump voters who have permanently soured so i don't even know that he could get their votes back without huge change in his positions.

Probably nothing, I mean personally I liked the "quieter seeming presidencies" of Second Term W. Bush or Obama/Biden -

The bigger problem is Trump is losing his base. GOP Senators and Congressmen are distancing themselves from Trump to get reelected.
