I am not, as you undoubtedly know, a political supporter of Trump, but things like this are just beyond the pale, absolutely. I am very grateful that the Secret Service was able to head this off before it turned tragic. Nobody, not even Trump, deserves this or anything close to it. Violence is not an answer.

@Amy10223 A couple of days ago, the "assassin" had a shotgun and a can of fuel, Trump wasn't even in the same state. His family are Trump supporters and he was apparently incensed by the lack of action on the Epstein files, iirc.

There will always be rumors of this sort. If it were true, I don't think we would know about it. I hope it isn't true. I don't like the man one bit, but I do not under any circumstances Wish death or illness on him or anyone else.

I think we all have an obligation to respect life and to respect the humanity of others, even if they don't respect ours.
