No. But that doesn't mean it can't go south rather rapidly.

I read something the other day that was comparing this to 1939. Trump ousted Maduro and the United States to among other things, gain control of their oil fields. Now IF Iran's regime (and that's a big IF) topples, and is replaced with a pro United States regime. Then that weakens both Russia and China. Both economies and militaries run on oil. In 1939 Roosevelt hit Japan with an oil embargo. This backed Japan into a corner. War with Japan MAY have been inevitable as war with China may be. But choking off Japan's oil supply forced Japan with two options let their burgeoning empire start to crumble or attack the United States. Most countries would have responded the same.

So no, I don't think we're on the eve of destruction. But Trump may have just lit the fuse to it. But again, it might have been inevitable anyhow. Negotiating can always be done. But it's always better to do it from a position of strength. If it comes to it, it's better that the United States control or have strong influence most of the world's oil reserves. But this is the second country we've attacked. We still have to be cognizant of the way that looks to the world. I don't care what our enemies think. But if it comes to a war on multiple fronts, dare I say a world War. The United States is not so powerful that we can take on the world. It would behoove us to still have cooperation of allies. And while the UN and NATO may seem like a joke, it has kept us (planet Earth) out of a world War for 80 years.

Yes but it’ll be from some asteroid from space that kills us all. We will be here fighting over one stupid thing or the next and something from space will take us out and there’ll be nothing anyone can do about it.

A solar flare can get us too. Big enough to stop all cars, no electricity, food stores will be emptied in a day or two. We would instantly be thrusted into a dog eat dog world…. Law and order would break down and gangs would rule what’s left of the world.

Honestly an asteroid like the one that got the dinosaurs sounds better.

This is what I think, things have been gradually getting worse and worse for a long long long time. People are not as kind as they used to be. Eventually this trend is going to catch up with us. I do think at some point something terrible is going to happen. But I also believe that Jesus will come back and set things right. I also believe that some people are going to hate it when He does.

The world was going to end everytime something major happened. Especially since the early 1900s and of course WWI then WWII, not to mention the cold war and all the other BS.

Those fools in the Sandbox have been fighting since the dinosaurs. They just need to end all of themselves and let the rest of the world be at peace.

This could be it. North Korea is considering invading South Korea. Muslims all over world are attacking and destroying anything US or Israeli. Afghan , India, and Pakistan are getting into it. Russia could hit US assets and say Iran did it as cover. Russia could Nuke Ukraine. So many things could happen. That is what happens when an US President acts like Hitler.
