Why does society shame people for wanting more money and an easier life?

money buys retirement... money buys your children a good upbringing... money keeps you from starving to death... money keeps a roof over your head... money pays for that doctor's visit you needed for so long... money buys your children a good future by a college education... money also buys spare time- imagine owning a rental unit where it can generate rental income for you so you can work less hours... money buys good health- being able to eat good food and see doctors... money also buys less stress- hiring a nanny/ home health aide/ personal assistant when life gets stressful.

so why does society shame those who want more money? is it a crime to want these things? for an easier life?

• Money does not guarantee your children a better upbringing. Good parenting guarantees your children a better upbringing. I've seen a crap ton of fucked up entitled rich kids.
• Money can buy an over priced college education, that's true. But a degree does nothing for your kids if they graduate into a job market where a Bachelor's or Master's degree is paying $65,000 with shit benefits.

But enough of correcting your false assertions. Let's talk about your question.

• Some people are allowed to make so much money in our extremist Capital shit show they can't possibly spend it. What is the point of that. In order for one person to win, millions of people are required to lose. Do you think that is healthy for society as a whole?
• When people accumulate extreme wealth, they are able to literally buy the votes of elected Representatives and Senators to have all the legislation that benefits them passed while crushing any legislation that benefits the population as a whole. That destroys a level playing field to ensure the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. So much for the delusion of free markets bullshit.
• Is massive wealth inequality good for society as a whole in the long term? Or Is it ultimately destructive to the economy for everyone? It's basic economics.

You have to just forget about what society thinks, and you have to do what you have to do. Because, to be honest, you are the only person in this world. This is going to back. Your play, it has your best interests at heart, so you make it how you want to make it, you do it the way you can do it and do it the best way possible, so you can make as much as possible. Forget what other people think they're not going to pay the bills, they're not going to help you do anything. Society's rules you play by your rules and be happy

Because a lot of people want more money but aren’t willing to do it honestly or put in the effort. A lot of people who are rich got there by screwing the system or taking advantage of others (think sweat shops, child labor). I have no problem with anyone who makes money the old fashioned way, by working hard and earning their wealth.

It's a combination of jealousy and laziness. There are a lot of people who want all the things you listed but aren't willing to put any effort into doing the work needed to earn them. Instead they whine and moan that some socialist politicians should steal the money someone else earned and use it to buy them these things as if they're somehow entitled to them just for existing.
