What’s Your Usual Way Of Getting Around Public Commuting, Bike Or Private Vehicle?

I have a private vehicle. I live in a very car-centric city, so getting anywhere other than downtown isn't the easiest when it comes to public transit, let alone biking. To take transit (bus) to work is about 2-3 hours, to bike is about an hour (on a good day, and definitely not during the winter) and then driving takes about 20 minutes without traffic, summer and winter. The bus takes so long because it takes the main highways, it goes "the long way around", and I have to transfer busses about 3 times, meanwhile with my car, I can just zip through the residential streets.
At school, I walk or bike. My car sits there most of the year. I am looking forward to better weather to get on my bike more often.
My car. My wife and I live in a rural area so our cars are the only way to get around.
When I was growing up in a suburb of Los Angeles in the '60s, I rode the bus sometimes but mostly rode my bike. Once I got a car in 1970 when I was 16, though, I drove all around and explored L. A. County, California and beyond.
I wish the US had more infrastructure built for biking. But it's rare here. So my usual mode is a private car. If I'm going into Manhattan, I'll take the Metro North train. It's by far the easiest, most dependable way to get in and out of the city given traffic in this area.

my own car is my primary method of commuting
In the city, bike, bike and bike again.
I'm biking to get groceries even if the nearest store means 5mn walk. Also I have taken so many buses and tramways in my life that they bore me to death, so I bike.
A car is out of question, it'd just drain my cashflow for no good reason. It was already like that 20 years ago, adverse effects are only getting worse, so I'd cry if I had to depend on a car.
My personal vehicle. It's common to get -40 temperature here. Walking and biking is dangerous. Busses are available but sitting and waiting for them is dangerous in It's own right.
I walk -- to work, to the grocery store, to the library, to restaurants and bars. I take a train to the airport as there is a stop two blocks from my apartment. For other destinations too far to walk I drive.
Car. I drive even to grocery 300m away with car. I'm lazy but no one would say that because I'm slender. XD
Car.
I cannot get around on a bike.
Too far, interstates, major roads.
I can ride a bike around my neighborhood or go ride at a park.
Not to work, shopping or errands.
I ride a bike only for recreational purposes.
A private vehicle is necessary for the area in which I live.
Private vehicle and that is just because I live somewhere where I have to. If I could choose I would walk or use public transport.
Right now private vehicle... public commuting though is some bullshit. I'll do anything to avoid that.
Trams. They run down streets to places people want to go without the last mile problem. Far better than buses or trains.
I usually use my private car always, everywhere and all the time…
There is no public transport & biking is way to dangerous on the roads around here. I get around in my own vehicle.
