Yep, they were able to get price down from $119 to mid $80's , but how long can they keep prices down? Days, Weeks, or Months , for a year? Iran says they are ready to fight for years. Iran has hit 6 ships in strait last two days. US war ship was hit by Iran. Iran shot down another US Bomber. On the 11th , Iran attacked with the most Missiles in a single day even though Trump said he destroyed 99% of their launchers, 99% of their drones, and 99% of their Missiles, and 99% of their Missiles procuction.

Not sure when you posted this, but as of March 12, there was only one oil blend under $80 and that Western Canadian at $75 a barrel. Murban crude, from the UAE, is $117. Oman is $122. Arab Light is $111, Dubai is $114, Kuwait is $118.

Generally speaking, the US exports are selling for about $25 to $30 less per barrel than what they are importing. .

I find it funny that the USA mindset is such that if gas goes up by a $1 or $2 a gallon, this is the thing that will break their wallets. For the average driver, that amounts to $650 to $1,300 a year. While everything else around you soars upward, you'd be better off it all of THAT stayed the same and only GAS went up! LOL

a few weeks till a month maybe for oil prices but if Iran can fight for that long, then maybe it’s a good thing they stopped them from creating nuclear warheads, because they would be even worse with that type of power at their hands against other nations near them if they really can carry out the fight for that long

The reserves were not replenished after COVID. The best estimates are that 40% of reserves remain.

That is around 6 million barrels. Most countries use around 1 million barrels a day.
