I don't know that I ever want to retire to some rocking chair and do nothing. I like keeping my mind and body engaged. But I've basically been semi retired since about age 50 or 10 years. I'm liking my life these days.

• Independently wealthy.
• Consulting on M&A deals for investment banks, private equity, and hedge funds.
• Consulting for manufacturing on turnarounds, buyouts, and strategic growth.
• I can choose who I work with, how much I work, and whatever opportunities I find interesting.
• All of my clientele comes to me by personal reference only. I always have some idea who I'm working with before I agree to engage.
• No one has much leverage over me.
