What are your thoughts on the Cesar Chavez controversy?

The Mexican-American and California native has long been reviered by Democrats, Hispanic-Americans and farmworkers, as a champion of farm workers rights.

In 2014, Barrack Obama declared his birthday a federal holiday, but now some women who were part of his labor union are saying that he raped and molested them, some when they were underaged. Celebrations are being cancelled. Statues and museum exhibits of him are being removed and there are calls to remove his holiday. The allegations haven't even been proven, yet people are already acting like his guilty, but even if he IS, should this negate his positive contributions to America and tarnish his legacy as a champion of farmers rights?

This is what pisses me about America. You could cure cancer, but if you make one fuck up, they'll remember you for the fuck up.
