Trending & News Trump reffered to the operation as, "the best and most beautiful military operation since World War II"
What happens next?
"Special military operation"
glad was minimal damage and life. hope it works out and venezuela stabilizes and elects new leaders favorable to USA, and they get back to the good place they were in before. If capital comes in, maybe.
but then again trump has been screwing every country on the planet with tariffs. If he is running this one, he must be inclined to input investment to bail them out so it's a better place.
Greater impact is to world order. Greenland, Columbia has to be wondering when the are on the docket. If Russia/China moves in... which I doubt, it's another level of war. Don't expect that, but possible... as the oil just got cut off... that leads to either negotiations in Ukraine or some other side effect.
China is heavily invested in Venezuela. The US just started a war with China and China's allies. It gives China the green light to take over Taiwan. If the US can take over another country, so can China.
That's what someone on the news said
China buys a lot of Venezuela's oil and built a lot of it's infrastructure. China's owns Venezuela. This was an attack on China as much as Venezuela.
I'm trying to understand the reasons behind this move. The war on drugs? What a load of rubbish.
Trump pardoned Juan Orlando Hernández, former Honduran president who was convicted of actually directing vast amounts of cocaine to the US.
For oil? I don't know. The US already has a lot of oil, and apparently Venezuela was prepared to make concessions to the US on this issue. So it seems simplistic to me to reduce it to oil.
Trump has lived the most important oil pipeline for Russia.
Venezuela was China's main oil supplier and thus China, although not in large proportions, is forced to reorient itself more towards Russia, which may also demand a higher oil price for China.
Thus, apparently it hits China, but in reality it does Putin a favor by financing the war in Ukraine, also the US through Trump, provides weapons to Russia.
Trump is the right hand of Russia!
I see it in the news.
Trump went into Venezuela. It is a crime. It is hostage.
Maduro and his wife were brought to New York.
What will happen to others that are not ok with the US?
It is all about black gold - oil - power!
Why can't Trump end the war in Ukraine? He said he would end war in one week. But money and power in Venezuela were more important. I am disappointed.
I think so too. He's already talking about taking the oil

Venezuelans will begin returning home. Brazilians will be able to breathe again. BRICS leadership will plot to destroy America again.
Brazilians won't breath with Lula in power. He should go next
Well, when the people start experiencing the relief of migrant emigration and leadership fighting against it, they'll wake up.
There are many other Latin-American countries who export much more drugs than Venezuela... the problem is not in drugs, they want their oil.
I think so too
Went exactly how I said it would...
I'm fairly interested to see what the rest of the world has to say.
The Mexican lady is pissed😂 China is shocked and confused. And hypocrite Russia is comdemning what they call "an act of military agression" 😂
The Mexican lady is shitting her pants🤣
Well what i worry is it sets the precedence that the United States will go into any country without U. N. approval. I'm not saying the case can't be made for it. But we're supposed to be a world community. I know that's kind of a joke. But this Is the aspirations of the U. N.
I just hope it starts and ends with Venezuela.
What happens next is that us companies invest in infrastructure projects in Venezuela and democratic elections get held.
Just what I think of Putin's military operation
Simply brilliant
