A disturbing number of people cannot handle objective truth. They either retreat into their beliefs or lash out at the person delivering the objective truth they don't want to hear. It indicates they have low ability for introspective thought. That usually means high insecurities and/or low IQ. These are great people to leave in the rearview mirror of life.

Most wouldn't accept truth even if they get hit in the head with it. People love living in a an illusion. Ignorance is bliss.

I can accept the truth. I always say truth is like a dead skunk in the middle of the street. You can walk away from it, but it still stinks

by testing it via the laws of logic, using known factors to determine clarity versus contradiction and keep asking questions until they can't be answered anymore. if there are metrics and numbers involved, it's much easier.

yeah but there's very very little in existence that can actually be determined to be objectively true that way. so i think in most cases where you'd insinuate "somene is dealing with objective truth" that's your evaluation of a thing, not the objecitve reality of it.
