Nice question! I don't know if this is sarcasim from some lefty loon position which I respect for the brainiac take... or if you're literally from a communist shit hole place that is actually worse. Remember, the "F" in Communism is for food... and H is for working hospitals.

  The UK? The West's newest Islamic country? If that's true, yeah... expecially if you're illegal. It's free. Don't ask an American citizen that though... they pay out the ass for health care through taxes even if they don't get sick.   I compared prices for an important pill and found u. S. Price- if have insurance- is half the price! In contrast to other developed countries even with health insurance.

  Maybe you mean the step before health care? Health insurance is arranged as part of salary so anyone who works has health insurance. Poor get free coverage called medicaid. Or medicare name.
