Is being physically attractive really a big advantage in life?
In my own experience looks matter greatly.
I think really attractive people do get treated better in certain situations. They also get some unwanted attention as well. A long time ago I was chatting with a woman on Facebook who lived in the Philippines. She lived in kind of an impoverished area, and her life wasn't what she wanted apparently. I told her how stunningly beautiful she is. I remember her telling me that her beauty doesn't mean anything in the Philippines, and it doesn't fix any of her problems. I guess location can be a factor when it comes to looks being a great advantage.
Interesting 🤔.
Maybe it's true,
Maybe it's not.
In my experiences (being ugly and underweight)
It's difficult to...
I never looked into it
Yeah, from what I've read people are conditioned to believe all sorts of positive things about attractive people. My personal experience supports that. And I know for a fact that men will do this stuff with a beautiful woman.
Yes I think it has some really big advantages including jobs, and dating.
@katiesmuff Google tells me apparently the only time it does not - court matters. Or law enforcement proceedings "beautiful people are held to a higher standard" - go figure that one, 💼 and uglier people get a smoother ride through the courts. Maybe justice sympathies with the ugly among society ⚖️ again all Google results even Google AI replied "uglier people tend to be looked on less harshly than beautiful people when in court strife or legal issues" - 🙄✅
Looks are not the only thing, but it is far ahead of whatever is second.

A very common concept, widely known and accepted as fact by most people
The good news is: being attractive is not so much about your genetic composition and more about your presentation
Meaning there’s no way around it:
You need to be fit, in shape, dress nice, have good grooming that compliment your looks
Smell good at all times
Have conversation skills (be funny, insightful, creative…)
You do all these things and no matter what your genetic potential is you will have maximized it to the point where you’ll he at least somewhat attractive
And yes it does make your life so much easier
Definitely. People don't get voted homecoming queen for being ugly, and in the case of women, being very beautiful leads to multi-million dollar modeling or acting jobs. Nobody pays millions of dollars to ugly people just because they are ugly, but they will pay you millions of dollars to be an actor/actress or model if you are very attractive.
I believe so yes. Not gonna lie, I'd often give hot girls discounts or free entry at work. And there's a hot guy on YouTube who random girls let him lick the bottom of their foot, when if I trired to do that, I'd have the police called on me.
So yes, pretty privlidge is a real thing
If you were black, the broad would say you r*ped her !!!
It's good I'm not black then. Did someone accuse you
No, but ever hear of (among other lying white c**ts) Carolyn Bryant Donham? Look up that travesty, pard !!!
Not her name, but I know about Emmett Till. Jesus, that was in the fucking 50s. Those were different times.
I remember seeing on the news a few years ago, some black football players in HS or college got accused, but so do White men. These days, men in general get falsely accused. It's not really a racial thing.
But it's crazy how in just 60 years, White people have changed
It's definitely an advantage, but I can't say if it's a big advantage. For employment, it depends on whether it's a public-facing position or internal where expertise matters. For something like musical performance or computer programming, there will be an audition and the performance on the audition is about everything.
It certainly has served me well 😁 yet maybe I'm not as gorgeous as I think 😔🤔 lol.
Lol. Thankfully the gays keep away from me and the women, are too busy looking over at 💪 💪 over there.
So I'm sitting pretty 😁 and continue all this time. Praise the Lord Jesus, seems good ✅
And duh 🙄😂 women obviously benefit themselves from being hot. Though I imagine some days they dislike "always getting eyeballs" - 👀👁️
Given the choice, would you rather be unattractive and smart, or beautiful and average?
Obviously you'd rather be both smart and attractive. Who wouldn't?
I doubt that anyone would choose to be both unattractive and dumb, but would anyone choose to be unattractive and smart and think it will be a good way to test if someone really loves them? I don't think so.
It depends on what you choose to do with it.
Yes, especially women. They never have to change a flat tire. They never get tickets. All they need is nice face nice boobs , and nice ass and they will never have to worry or work very hard, get raises , and day off anytime they like.
Yes , especially for women. I worked for a big defense contractor and all the well paid administrative assistants (secretaries) were hot.
That’s true, beauty privilege is a real thing.
obviously, the halo effect is real
It does.
Of course
Depends on the society you’re in
That is an extremely large advantage.
D**N SKIPPY !!!
I’d say so
Duh.
