Does it exist? And do bad people get what's coming to them?
If this is true why do perpetrators of domestic violence etc. sometimes not only walk away free, but are accepted in society (when they conceal their true face)?

Sometimes bad people get away with their crimes and never pay. WIthout hard evidence, it's difficult to catch criminals. Many fly under the radar, or have giant financial resourccs that buy them legal teams that help them escape prosecution.
So, karma doesn't always happen and the good don't always land on their feet. Something like 10% of the prison population is supposed to be innocent of the crimes they were convicted of.
Vince McMahon, wrestling promotor, paid off several women millions in hush money after sexual allegations against him arose. Michael Jackson did the same. And dozens of others whose names aren't recognizable. In some people's cases, the chickens came home to roost after these issues came to light. In others, the probable offenders got off scot free.
We HOPE karma gets the bad, but doesn't always happen!
I believe it does and I believe bad people receive lessons in life whether they want to or not. Life rewards you or repays you depending on whether you've done good or bad.
But what about the person or individuals whose lives they have ruined? It reminds me of that quote I once heard in a movie: Every person who commits suicide has a murderer.
No. It doesn't. It's a fiction that's made up by humans who want to believe there's always a magical justice served to those who commit heinous acts. In the real world, good people can be dealt the worst misfortunes throughout their lives, and bad people can thrive without ever facing any hardships.
However, there is SOME truth to it. If you kill someone, you'll have to live with that for the rest of your life. If you bully someone, it's the same. And the people you commit those terrible acts against will always harbour negative feelings for you and potentially increase your risk of having vengeance on you or retaliation.
Basically, if you commit a terrible act, you're more LIKELY to receive misfortunes. It's not guaranteed though and really intelligent people can avoid those consequences.
And people who are not very intelligent?
Well, as I said, they're more LIKELY to reap what they sow. But not guaranteed.
Can I dm you? had a question. Thanks
Sure

We live in a duality world karma is energy because we are energy everything on this planet is energy
In order to have one side you have to have the other side with positive you need negative with success you need failure which is not failure it's success but anyway
When you pre-meditate something To hurt somebody You put out that energy And what you put out you get back It might take time but you do get it back it's like me yelling something in the air
Well whatever I yelled it is out there forever it just keeps going and going and going it's like on the radio station you listen to radio waves when you listen to the radio it's in the air it's out there forever and it will find you again
If you truly knew who we were as a people and what we are capable of doing it's just like talking telepathically we should have already been doing this by now but anyway when you put it out there it will come back to you
It can but not always. it's a world controlled by "evil" not love... selflessness, consideration. The most evil can get away with it.
If you have a heart and empathy and send out evil, probably comes back.
It's more than likely about "power".
Look at Jesus of Nazareth... was good to people, and they murdered him because of what he said.
Good luck in this world, it's not worth staying. It's good to have a purose to care for others, and do the good your heart compells you to. But don't expect evil people to pay because of some magic.
The Bible teachers the following:
Galatians 6:7: "Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows".
Job 4:8: "Those who plow evil and those who sow trouble reap it".
Proverbs 11:27: "Whoever seeks good finds favor, but evil comes to one who searches for it".
Romans 6:23: "The wages of sin is death" is a key Bible verse found in Romans 6:23 (KJV/NIV), which states that the consequence of sin is spiritual and physical separation from God. It contrasts this penalty with the free gift of God, which is eternal life through Jesus Christ.
I do think it's true, but people probably oversimplify or just see it as some form of righteous punishment.
I have therapised people who have committed some truly heinous acts, and I have seen the toughest guys break down as they finally realise what they have done. You can suppress something for a long time. But it's there, in your subconscious. It will come out, eventually. Even if it's in a theoretical next life.
Spiritually, karma seems to exist for those who believe in it. Karma and its equivalent in different religions.
Societally, karma could be the role of justice, dealing with bad deeds, in general. Is justice fair, that's another question.
Psychologically, I'm not living in the mind of perpetrators but I can reasonably say that guilt is a punishment that exists, that's one karma.
Karma doesn't exist and they only pay for it when they have experienced more suffering than they wrought. I'll use my uncle as an example. He wanted to rape me as a child. A fucking child. Did he ever even get arrested or socially shamed? Nope. He lived his life and eventually just died. No karma, no justice because nobody ever held him accountable
Karma as a cosmic force does not exist. If may exist within communities -- people who refuse to help others will not receive help when they need it.
Why? Becase there are many communities that protect abusers of women and children, and may claim that their religion demands it.
Events are a chain of reactions
Karma in magical terms doesn’t exist
But when a person does something they set off events that might come back to haunt them
What goes around does come around eventually
But if there's no karma how can what goes around come around?
My Father flew 63 missions in a B-26 during WWII. He carried a silver 5 Franc pierce as good luck. He gave it to me when I was 13 years old. When silver went to $50 the first time the coin was stolen from me. I wanted to kill the person that took it because I trusted my girl friend and she brought the person to my home. Three years later the person that took the coin was killed in an auto accident. Karma bites hard…
Some of them do. But it's less like Karma and more like them attracting the attention of the sort of people who can balance their ledger without their consent.
Because democrat judges don't learn from the past, that "rehabilitating" does not work nor deter criminals. They give lenient punish.
You get out what you put in.
If you go through life with negative purpose you will get negativity in return.
If you go through life with positive intentions you will receive positivity
That doesn't really answer my question but thanks..
That’s why I believe in a higher power. If you don’t pay now you will pay later. Especially if you don’t repent.
I don't think it does. There are so many evil people who are happy. Nothing bad ever happens to them.
To me karma is just an illusion.
It occurs often enough that it appears to be. Arrogance, risky behavior, and perhaps revenge adds to it.
No, as much as it would be cool if it worked like that , usually the rich get away with murder.
But I'm not talking about the rich I'm talking about like for normal people.
What I think is that it's a bit more complicated than it doesn't exist at all.
I think if a bad person is bad, at some point they're going to do something that will reflect that.
They can't hide that side of them forever.
The opposite is also true. A good person no matter what they've been through will have their goodness rewarded at some point.
Simple no, it doesn't,
If it did, all the billionaires will go bankrupt.
Because they are only billionaires because they exploited someone or something for there advantage.
Other is it's also gender bias, depending on looks
People tend to hang out with people like them. So that is how karma kicks in. They steal so they hang out with thieves and get stolen from.
It's a nice idea, but no. There's no actual guarantee bad people will have bad things happen to them like they deserve. Sometimes people get a lot of good luck and sometimes a lot of bad luck.
From a supernatural perspective, No. But there is always coincidence and guiding circumstances by your character.
Karma never loses an address. I believe people pay sooner or later.
No Karma doesn't exist. What you get from doing good and bad affects how you develop as a human. That is reward and punishment enough.
Hell is a real place, so eventually bad people pay for their evil actions.
But in this lifetime?
You reap what you sow. So all religions believe evil faces back what they give to people.
I would like to think that there is a certain amount of justice in the universe, but in truth, I know that that is probably just a fallacy. Nonetheless, I continue to hope in a very futile way.
I don't belive in specifically "karma" but I do believe eventually you do get what you gave. Even if you forgot life won't.
Unfortunately some bad people never get what they deserve. The world has never been a fair place
Yes, but sometimes it works slowly, so they get punished in next incarnation.
I'm not religious, but I do believe in reincarnation and karma. Purely scientific.
Sowing and reaping, karma, whatever one calls it. Yes. Either here or in the hereafter.
Not in the magical wy. religion may say.
But religion has been around for years and years.
Shouldn't their be at least some truth in it. Otherwise why would anyone believe in religion
Virtue is it's own reward.
Karma is the effect of beliefs
God's judgement will find them
I believe so.
No and no
Why a blanket no?
