Do you believe karma is real?

I don’t.

I do believe people who repeatedly do bad things will likely end up in crappy places or situations but I personally wouldn’t call that karma.
I would just say it’s just consequences for their actions.

When I say I don’t believe in karma I am just saying I don’t believe in the religious side of it.
The people who end up in crappy places because they are constantly acting immoral or criminal I just don’t believe that’s based on religion they ended up in a crappy place

I believe karma is real but it is unevenly distributed in this life. In the next life, things will be more equal. An example is that I know people who were severely punished for small sins and I know people who were modestly punished for severe sins.
