Do you believe karma is real?

I always behave myself because I’m afraid if I don’t karma will get to me and bad things will happen to me but I also do honestly care for the feelings of other people who care about my feelings

I don’t know lol. My thoughts on it are complex…. I’ll try and explain it a bit. I think the idea and concept of Karma is interesting, and I don’t really know or believe if it’s real or not.


I was always taught the golden rule, “treat others how you’d like to be treated.” If I do good, then others will do good to me. That doesn’t always happen, but it’s a good rule to follow to keep yourself in check about treating others nicely and doing good things lol.


I just never believed or saw something and said “that was karma.” Although I have had experiences that surely seemed like karma, I just think it’s consequences or coincidences at most.


Actions always have consequences, and sometimes those consequences never come. Same could be said about karma. You could do bad things and bad karma could never happen to you. Or you can do good and good things never come to you.

Only so far as if you commit lots of crimes, you'll have a chance of going to prison. Or if you treat people like a jerk, you'll stand a greater chance of being treated poorly yourself. But if you mean some magical cosmic balance, then no. Bad people can and do get away with shit, and sometimes the good suffer. We should work to fix that rather than waiting for the universe or god to magically do it for us.

Nope I don't. People carry out all sorts of atrocities but go through life without ever suffering for it. Where's the Karma in that?
