i think you need to ask this question differently. the feds don't have any money. whatever they spend money on comes from your pocket. so the question is: do YOU want to pay for homeless vets housing out of your pocket? cause that's what government spending is.

fair enough. i don't. cause 99% of all wars the us wages are not faught to "protect the country" but rather to fuck up some already rather poor nation to exploit what little they have cause they can't fight back. i don't think that serving in the military is a very noble thing so i don't think rewarding it more than any other job is reasonable.

Wounded combat veterans should get assistance with assisted living commensurate with the amount of disability. Homeless limited services till they get back on their feet and on their own ability to do some work to qualify for help, recertification, and requalifying for benefits after X amount of years.

Either all get assisted living, or none.

Are you talking about the veteran getting money for a service-related disability while fighting for our country, or the homeless person some on welfare and assistance for decades? One deserves it; the other is abusing the system.

It won't work usually an institution is whats needed. Not having a home is just a symptom.
