Are women more easily influenced by media and society than men?

Maybe this is something that the people in power are aware of. When I pay attention to the mainstream media, the news channels, and TV dramas etc, it seems like there is more of an effort to influence women rather than men.

For example, I wish I had a pound for every time I watched a TV drama or TV talk show where a woman was being encouraged to divorce her husband, or women were being told that they are the prize, or women were being told that it's much more fun and liberating to be single and childless. However, very rarely do I see TV shows encouraging men to divorce their wives, or that it's better to be single. Most of this propaganda seems to be targeted at women.

Same when it comes to healthcare. Most of the fearmongering, especially with cancer, is mostly aimed at women. Women, more than men, are constantly being reminded of cancer, especially breast and cervical cancer.

And whether or not you believe the Bible, it's interesting that the Bible teaches that it was the woman, Eve, who was deceived by the serpent. For some reason the lying snake chose to target the woman rather than the man. Just like today, the lying mainstream media seems to target women rather than men.
