You’ve gotten bad information. Women do not “put more emotions into” relationships. Men are far more likely to suicide after breakup or divorce than women are. Men tend to put EVERYTHING into their relationships. That’s why they think their life is over when it ends. Women are allowed to emote to more people in their lives. While men tend to put all of their emotional eggs in their woman’s basket.
