Are you proud of the fact that you work for a living, or do you feel stupid for having to do it?

In regard to my own work, I feel absolutely terrific when people get well as a result of my efforts. I also feel wonderful when I make a good diagnosis and it turns out to be correct, and it's helpful to the person. Working with my wonderful colleagues and friends is a great way to spend time. If I'm ever at the point where I could financially retire, I am certainly not going to because I love my work too much to abandon it ever.
