In truth, not really. I'm pretty well insulated from any economic activity. I'm out of the game (for the most part) when it comes to meddling in the affairs of other people all over the planet. But I'm going through a bit of withdrawal from that lifestyle to be honest. Hence my recent trip through mountains and wilderness areas for my birthday trying to find that level of risk, challenge, and exhilaration one more time. I get bored easily. 🤣

Well a trillion dollars is in elon back pocket today. Velocity of currency is a thing and right now currency is more of anchor like a dragon horde then a real currency. Trickled down economics needs to actually Trickled down.

The great depression was a thing and we got out of it by building things like the hoover damn and Rockefeller contributing into arts like Rockefeller plaza.

Today we have more national debt with nothing to show for it. Just people going to epstein island.

Most definitely. I've been mulling retirement for months now. But with the cost of healthcare being a tremendous X factor i've yet to pull the trigger. And since i'm heavily invested in energy stocks the on again/off again war with Iran is greatly influencing my portfolio. I know you're going to say, "how does this affect daily life". And to that i say, i've always been of the mind that a dollar spent today robs you of 10 dollars of compounding returns down the road. And the Trump adminastration (whether you agree with him or not), has been a "market dip" buyers dream. This is the first year i've earned a 6 figure return and i did that by mid May. Common sense for any investor is that it's always about the avg. Which i would always agree. But no president swings this wildly on his decision making. Each presents new opportunities. What's happening now is going affect completely how i live my life for the next 10 years.

So much has affected the prices of food here. Canada is the only country in the G7 with in a technical recession. We're doing so bad, many people are choosing between groceries and rent each month. I fucking hate our clown leaders who spend all this money on their rainbow brigade agenda and just a lot of wasted taxpayer money that could be used to actually improve infrastructure, create homes, create job opportunities, etc.

Two main things that effect my daily life the most are fuel and food prices. Here in California, gas has been over $535 per gallon for weeks. I'm sure propane for my house will be expensive, too, the next time they fill my tank. Grocery and especially restaurant prices are insane.

Well yeah! How can it not take a toll on my stress level?
I wish the government would settle down a lot! They have too much going on 24/7. Everyday it's several things that are being implemented and/or changed. It's way too difficult to keep up. So I don't listen to anything anymore about what's going on in the world! I could care less!

Yes, thanks to Trump and his illegal war, everything costs more than it should, and that does affect my daily life. It's not like I can't afford it, because I can, but I could use that money to buy things that I want or need, and I can't because I have to spend it instead on what we might reasonably refer to as the "Trump surcharge."

Yeah the constant inflation while at the same time wages staying stagnant noticably effected my ability to afford shit. Like wages rise for like 1-2% every year. Meanwhile inflation makes everything 10% more expensive every yeah. That latter thing isn't a fact. Just what it feels like to me.
