I used to cut Israel a lot of slack. But no more. They are bent on perpetual war. They want the war to continue and they want the U. S. involved. As far as the GOP goes, most of them didn't want this war to begin with and now they're wondering what the U. S. got out of it because what they settled for is worse than what they had before they launched the war. They have to campaign for the mid-terms and having to campaign on this Iran boondoggle and all of Trump's other nonsensical decisions and schizophrenic behavior and deranged Truth Social posts is pushing them to the brink I think. I mean at the G7 summit the other day he spent a great deal of time rambling about what a fine man Dana White is, and the UFC fight on the lawn, and how handsome all the men were at the Summit. WTF? This is the President of the United States and he talks like a demented child, like a lunatic. And the GOP senators have to defend all of that before their constituents. They've started getting off the MAGA train now and I expect more defectors the crazier Trump gets.
