China is so polluted that the air looks like thick fog. I'm surprised that people don't walk into each other on the streets because they can't see them!

That’s what the internet says about China. It’s not true.
While it may not be true, they still create more pollution and contamination than the US by far.
I've seen how polluted China is on a TV program and I am not exaggerating here.
I agree that China creates a lot of waste due to massive manufacturing compared to the US.
But I wouldn’t based my source of information from media.
I base it on EPA and it's global counterpart's reporting. Which is the UNEP.
Oh and fun fact, the US isn't even in the top ten countries when it comes to pollution according to the UNEP.
