1 moThey’re alright for the most part. They’ve got some bad apples, but what bunch doesn’t?
The modern klan isn’t what it once was. They’re just a political group now. They hold their demonstrations and they say stoopid sh*t just to get people’s attention. They promote themselves to marginalized people, offering a sense of belonging and strength in numbers. There are lots of groups that do the same, but nobody cared even when groups like Antifa, BLM, Stop Oil, et cetera were actively disruptive and openly violent. Meanwhile, KKK hasn’t had a major public disturbance in their name in decades. Who’s worse? Who should we be focusing on?
If KKK was still hunting minorities and holding lynchings, then it would be a different story. They’re really only relevant because the lunatic left has been paying them to stir up fear and outrage because the demand for racism outstripped the supply years ago. Otherwise you would have to go looking to find card carrying KKK with anything to say and you’d find it much harder to find them than you might guess. They lost and they know it.10 Reply

They follow the Kloran which is a portmanteau of Klan and Koran (Quran). They dress up like Knights Templar who converted to Islam during the crusades and followed Baphomet which is a French bastardization of the name Muhammad. They preserve all the White supremacy rules of Islam and racism toward Blacks. They preserve all their hatred for the Jews and they burn crosses due to their hatred for Judeo-Christian beliefs. They go around calling blacks "Coons" (Mushrikun which are non-Muslims).

You certainly struggle with the obvious. Utilizing similar hierarchies and political principles doesn’t equate to the same value system. Outlaw biker gangs adhere to operational codes borrowed from western governments and military, but disavow those same governments.

@kinks1951 the "party switch" is a myth. The Democrat Party was split between northerners that support civil rights, and southerners that were against it. Actually, I believe it was largely Republicans that supported the civil rights bill. Due to actions of the Democrat Party (overreach and government control), many white southerners fled. The republican party never actually supported the kkk, and dismantled it under Reagan.

The platform switch is absolutely not a myth. Democrats used to be conservatives and republicans were liberals. This is well documented. It was progressive to end the slave trade in the US. It was also an overreach of the federal government to dictate law to the states. It was conservative to suggest states should have the authority to decide the issue. Southern democrats were typically wealthy landowners and business moguls who thought that the market should be free to self regulate. I. e. if people didn’t want goods and services produced by slaves, slavery would naturally wane.
You really need to brush up on history before making such ignorant statements publicly. - 1 mo
@Chazmatazz269 that is quite an ignorant perspective largely spoken from a democratic standpoint. If you studied your history, you'd recognize this.
DEBUNKING: The Myth of the Party Switch – What Really Happened? / FORGOTTEN HISTORY
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ysapEnvwRA you are ignorantly trying to apply a modern lens towards historical issues. Let us also remember that southern democrats existed not too long ago. - 1 mo
@Chazmatazz269 let us further accept that the Civil Rights bill of 1964, had a large portion of Republicans voting for it than Democrats. www.govtrack.us/congress/votes/88-1964/h182
- 1 mo
@Chazmatazz269 let us look simply at why this is a myth. The "party switch" is often advertised as the Republicans and Democrats switching sides in a short time, and taking each other viewpoints. Democrats often use this argument to show that Republicans are the most "racist" party., and to remove themselves from the Democrat parties history. The truth is, even during the Civil War, not all Democrats were unified. There was a split between the party of those that supported the union, and those that supported succession and slavery. We know this Era, as the rise of Republican party in the north. Over the next century, northern Democrats more closely aligned with Republicans, while southern Democrats used the same networks as the confederacy and practiced segregation, Jim Crowe, and founded the KKK.
- 1 mo
@Chazmatazz269 during the 1960s, LBJ passed the Civil Rights bill, which was largely supported by Republicans and Northern Democrats, and resisted by Southern Democrats. There was no switch, instead Republican leaders like Nixon and Reagan appealed to southern whites for their fears regarding cultural and regional issues. Even if we look at the 1990s, many Democrats were often hard on crime, and against illegal immigration (like Clinton), while Reagan spoke of amnesty. Even today, many things pushed by Democrats would have been unthinkable only 15 years, much thanks to figures like Sanders.
- 1 mo
@Chazmatazz269 the reality is, today's Democrat party is neither the Republicans or Democrats of old. The Republican party is likewise. We are speaking about 150+ years of changes. This is not a switch, but a realignment of coalitions. People do not even have the same values of 50 years ago, let alone 150. It is a myth because it aids the Democrat Party to remove itself from historical grievances and helps them better combat Republicans in the culture war.

One of us is definitely ignorant, but it’s not me. You are conflating democrat with liberal and republican with conservative.
Decades ago democrats were conservative and republicans were liberal. Full stop. There is no argument to that. Furthermore, your nonsense about “split” democrats has ALWAYS been true. It’s also true of republicans. The political platforms have always been a spectrum. That’s why people conjured terms like RINO and DINO. It’s also why idiots try to shame “fence riders” and why dummies like you think i’m a democrat just because i point out the flaws in your rhetoric. Moron democrats do the same and accuse me of being MAGA. Does that make you a democrat because you do the same dumb sh*t? 😂😂😂😂
The extremist tribalism we’re experiencing today is not the norm, and it never has been. Even during the Civil War, most people were just fighting to preserve their lives and livelihoods. They weren’t fighting for or against slavery. That was the politicians’ position, who by the by weren’t fighting. You, just like the democrats of old, are just regurgitating the talking points of your conservative figureheads.
Stop conflating parties with platforms and the truth will become perfectly clear. Or keep showing your ignorance. Your call. - 1 mo
@Chazmatazz269 you immediately opened this reply up with using modern verbiage to explain historical perspectives. That is ignorant. Do you truly believe those terms have the same meaning? Thats nonsensical, and makes the rest of your argument pointless.
