Which country are you originally from, not where you live now?

I am not referring to the country you live in.

Around 1547 my family lived in what is now Normandy. At some point we said no to Catholicism. and ran for our lives. but the English Channel was not that wide. Paternal Grandmothers people were Dutch and arrived in the second boatload following the Mayflower. They landed in Long island. Bother were Quaker and by the American Civil war we had located in Cardington, Ohio. Safe Houses were needed along the way to Cincinnati. Last stop to freedom. Mom's people were from Georgia and most likely English. Her father was Native American and very hard to trace. All here prior to the United States of America.

I was born in the USA and currently live in the USA. But I've lived all over the planet from the time I was born. Including 11 different US states.
