Some do. Some denominations celebrate the sabbath on Saturday instead of Sunday. I don't go to church at all.

About 30% of Americans attend religious services regularly (weekly or almost weekly). Roughly 40% attend at least once a month.
About 56% of the population seldom or never attends services.
Church membership and regular attendance have steadily declined over the past few decades.

I remember you. I remember you mention at some point that you were in wicca. Is it truth that wiccans practice voodoo retuals?

Or is that just a lie the pentecostal pastors made up just to collect more money into their bank accounts?

@Kassandra1994. At one time, I was a member of a Unitarian Universalist congregation.

Christian Universalism originated in the 3rd century with early theologians like Origen of Alexandria. As a formal, organized religious movement, it began in the late 18th century. The Universalist Church of America was officially established in New England in 1793, countering orthodox Calvinist teachings with the belief that a loving God would ultimately save all souls.

Unitarianism emerged as an organized church during the Protestant Reformation in the 1560s, primarily in Poland and Transylvania. Later, the movement spread and solidified in England and America, eventually consolidating with Universalism in 1961 to form modern Unitarian Universalism.

It is open to all spiritual beliefs - Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, and even pagan and atheist.

There were a few Wiccans and I attended a couple of ceremonies in the church sanctuary. They began by purifying the space, casting a protective magical circle, calling upon the four elements, and honoring the six directions - east, south, west, north, sky and Earth.

In my experience, they honored creation and also believed that certain objects, plants and stones contained power. I liked that.

      Wicca is not Voodoo.
Wicca emerged in mid-20th-century England. It draws heavy inspiration from pre-Christian European traditions. The practice centers around the reverence of nature, celebrating lunar cycles and seasonal festivals known as the Wheel of the Year.

      Voodoo originated in West Africa.
During the 16th and 17th centuries, enslaved Africans forcibly transported to the Caribbean brought these ancient, nature-based spiritual traditions with them. In the French colony of Saint-Domingue (modern-day Haiti), these African beliefs blended with Roman Catholicism to form the fully realized religion of Haitian Vodou. Over time, this creolized religion spread from Haiti to North America.
I don't know anything about voodoo.

My own spiritual beliefs view all creation as sacred. Everything is part of an interconnected web of life requiring respect and reciprocity. The universe and all creatures, including plants, have consciousness.
I don't believe in gods. I doubt if any got created humans, specifically, or watches over them in particular. I think humans evolved like everything else. But I'm not sure if the universe, itself, is conscious or if it was formed with conscious intent.

      Thank you, Kassandra. 🙏 (bowing)

I forgot to mention that I also like the Animistic views of indigenous people, in which all things in nature—including animals, plants, rivers, rocks, and weather systems—possess a spiritual essence or soul. Rather than separating the physical and spiritual, it views the world as a deeply interconnected community of living beings and forces that require respect and reciprocity.

One thing I liked when reading about Process Theology by Alfred North Whitehead was the suggestion that all creatures might be the universe observing itself.
