What is the part you don't believe? Do you mean you are in disbelief that the Democrats are blocking the Save America Act which requires voters to prove citizenship and show photo ID?

Yes that is the bit I find hard to believe. Voting integrity is sacred. It beggars belief that anyone can argue against the fundamental of democracy that one vote has one value. It would cause voter backlash here if a politician was foolish enough to argue for it.

I joke that Australia received a box labeled DEMOCRACY with the instructions shrink wrapped on from the UK and US. It meant though we could focus on the mechanics of democracy and we have done a good job on that.

It does distress me that the US has poor voter integrity because it is one of our two democracy mothers and fraud in a notable democracy diminishes all in my view.
Australia was the first to introduce printed ballot papers to make it harder to be fraudulent.
