No, the Justices are not receiving billions of dollars for selling out the national interest. That's happening elsewhere.
More importantly, what amount is the limit for bribery? Billions? Millions? Holidays worth hundreds of thousands? Really expensive RVs? A meal? A cup of coffee?
Robert Reichs was once invited for a meal by Bill Gates, to whom the cost of it would be like a cent to you or me. Reichs was told, in no uncertain terms, that he had to pay for the meal himself and be able to prove it.
Of course it is. Don't forget the bribery!

Not as a court institution, but certain justices are acting highly unethical.
LOL maybe for like a week i didn't. until i learned more about what it was.
By definition, the Supreme Court can't be corrupt. It has the power to interpret the law.
Since they have the power to interpret the law, I don't see how you can convict them of anything. There's only been like one supreme court justice impeachment in the nation's history.
Yeah, I don't see how you can decide that people who have the power to interpret the law can sort of pardon themselves. It means that anybody in that position can do that, and that in and of itself is corruption. I think the corrupt justices would be making a law against corruption. Remember that the court doesn't make laws; it just interprets laws.
To impeacha justice you need 51 votes on the Senate floor. Not happening.
What i think doesn't matter. I don't get to make the laws.
I think Democracy itself is a dumb system of government. Allowing criminals and uneducated people to vote is a stupid way of keeping everyone else perpetually down all the time.
Like the whole system of government is corrupt, not just a few individuals.
I don't even agree with half the laws in the existing constitution, because they are often self-contradictory or otherwise undermine the ability to enforce any rational sense of order found in other nations.
I don't think we should have "freedom of religion". What rational government gives someone a "right" to worship satan, who is the antithesis of God himself.
I don't think the "Double Jeopardy" clause should be a thing. If there's evidence you committed the crime, you should go on trial, and if new evidence proves you did the crime, you should go back on trial even if previously acquitted.
I don't think "Ex Post Facto" should be a thing either, since moral convictions are a universal thing. People know what good and evil are, and if they claim otherwise they are liars.
Also, even though I own several hunting guns, including a.22 pistol and a 30-30 rifle, I don't own any automatic weapons and think automatic weapons should be banned except for military and SWAT, and even though they should have them only because the bad guys do have them and the bad guys get them illegally to begin with.
If you actually paid attention, the only reason I'm registered as a Republican is my state requires me to choose between the two leading parties, and I actually disagree with both leading parties more often than not.
That I can't prove
