Focus; this has actually been proven. It’s also rich in our stereotypes. When men focus, they can do almost anything better than women; except multitask. A distracted man gets very little done. A distracted woman looks insane, but she gets a lot done. A focused woman just frets.
Of course these are generalizations, but they are supported by research. Women are generally better at multitasking than men, and men are most productive when they are focused. This is also why most men function better under strict hierarchies. Give a man his orders and leave him be to get things done. Women function better by committee. Both have their advantages and disadvantages, and recent ideological differences leave people in denial of the simple truths that could actually make them more productive and happier.
