They wore shirts that said protect the girls and XX only in girls sports. They paid 1k to see Sophie Cunningham play, and they were told to leave if they refused to change thier shirts. It's like they are shooting them selves in the foot over and over. Ima just sit back and eat popcorn while they destroy them selves. Sorry if you were born male, you don't belong in women's sports end of discussion.

They were treated fairly. I hate it too but they can't walk in there with shirts like that for the same reason they can't let people in there with a shirt that has a picture of a dick on it or one that says white power or something.

Their job is to put together a "production" of a sports game and that means the audience shouldn't be getting distracted by commentary that's not part of the production.

That includes some random freak taking a picture of a fan mid game and complaining about it on Twitter.

It's just a can of worms nobody at the stadium wants opened.

Considering the arena is publicly owned, as in Tax Payer funded, they didn't have the right to violate her freedom of speech.

The FCC can't regulate what a person wears either. Completely different apples to oranges comparison. Thats like saying the ATF has control over your mechanic shop. They only have jurisdiction over Television, and radio broadcast. Not a public arena and what people choose to wear, And as others have said, They were told to leave, but others wearing similar political bullshit were left alone. For the record, i support the two ladies. Why? Because my cousin was raped in a Virginia school by someone claiming to be trans, The student that did it, got no consequences, and was moved to a different school, When her father complained to the school board, he was arrested. So yeah im very against mentally disable idiotic pieces of human trash pretending to be women invading women's spaces.

You can be against the dumb practice, but you're forgetting that wmba games are televised and this is the real world right? So they're not gonna tell the broadcasters they have to blur everyone's shirt on the fly in a live production... That would be unreasonable and borderline impossible.

Also, it's not as simple as the arena is publically owned. The wmba is not. The teams are not, there is liability at play that has serious consequences. Also usually the stadiums are effectively treated as rented. It's owners are effectively stewards of deciding who gets to do what with the space, hiring upkeep staff and managing liability aspects of the property.

People with shirts that have socially explosive messages that can hurt the wnba are going to be stopped.

That arena is publicly owned. This could be a problem for them since they shut down their Freedom Of Speech. There were people who had opposite type of shirts and they weren't treated the same.
