Michael Scott in the Office.

Which i think is a spot on analogy. Except that Michael deep down isn't a bad guy. Trump might not be bad if you could cure his narcissism and insecurity.

But think about it. The corporate entity represents the people who elected him. Michael represents Trump. And his employees represents everyone in the Trump adminastration. In a lot of ways the people who work for Trump are a lot smarter than him (a lot, not all🤣). But at the end of the day everyone is flawed and just working for their paycheck. So they tell the boss whatever they got to do to make it through the day. The office, like the Trump adminastration is very inefficient. They waste 10 billion dollars to brag about saving 1 million. We won't actually understand the depth of the incompetence until the adminastration is over (assuming Trump goes quietly and doesn't try to pull the whole syatem down to remain in power on his way out). But it all works, the Office stays in business. Because it still makes money. And it has a corporate leadership that funds all it's f*** ups. Because like us we're all too busy worrying about our own lives, paying bills, and putting food on our tables. To deal with every fire at the office/ Trump afminstration. That is, the fires that pop up daily that they are hiding.

And lost in all this is the deep down knoledge that Trump is not doing a WORSE job than anyone we've elected in the past. But he's upset the apple cart so much worldwide that it's not business as usually. Which means there's too many variables to predict what can all come from the chaos that has been created. I truly believe most world leaders are afraid of Trump. But not afraid like you would be of a brilliant leader. Afraid like you would be of a loose cannon who could do anything. I don't think Trump is a loose cannon (or maybe i just don't want to think that). I think Trump crafts that image. I do think he reacts. But i do think hw puts more thought into things then it appears. I think he just wants it to look like he doesn't. If you're a United States enemy you can't anticipate an action if you truly believe Trump isn't thinking at all.
