If the objective of the Iran war is to eliminate Iran's capacity to make nukes, did Trump lie about success in achieving that goal in 2025?

Of course he lied. Please understand that the Iran war is entirely because Trump believed it would boost his popularity. He has repeatedly stated that he believes attacking Iran will make a president more popular. In fact, he expressed concern Biden might do just that to fix his polling numbers.

In reality Biden had already re-established an existing deal with Iran that allowed the US to send in controllers to ensure there is no Nuclear weapons being developed. If this was actually about that and Trump knew where ot was happening they'd simply have sent them in. Gotten clear evidence after which the UN would have exerted pressure and the Nuclear programs dismantled.

This was never about nuclear weapons. It was and remains a failed attempt to make people like him. Like a school bully flexing his muscles only to get repeatedly beaten up by the weird kid.
