Why is it seen as insecure for a woman to prefer a taller man?

I've never in my life heard that, based on my observations insecure is used far more towards men than it ever has been towards women.

I disagree, it's just a preference, ask yourself if you want a woman that's short, does that make you insecure? Or does it just mean you like short women cause you find them adorable, etc. insecurity usually comes from something reflecting back to how it makes you feel and if you aren't dating a short woman because a taller woman would make you feel short then it's a preference not an insecurity, same for women, if they date a tall guy cause they like looking up at a dude for example or whatever then it's a preference not an insecurity. Logically speaking one can argue that assuming a woman is insecure cause of who she chooses to date or their height can be an insecurity if that assumption comes from not feeling tall enough or feeling defeated by taller men.

No I'm just saying people have a very bad habit of throwing the word insecure around for everything and not knowing what it means

When the guy isn't insecure then yea of course they are wrong, the facts don't change, they are wrong if they are wrong

Yea exactly, the real question is why would it be considered insecure if a guy doesn't want extra responsibility when he is still not even sure his investment with the woman is perfect, let's also not forget the fact that if you do get attached to her child, if she ever chooses too, she will more than likely win the court case to shun you from her kids life cause you aren't related to the kid at all, if a man believes it's not worth it to him, that's not insecurity, some would say it's actually logical and understandable.
