Trump is the president of the United states so when they speak disrespectfully to him because or their politics then they are disrespecting America. They wouldn't talk to former presidents or leaders of other countries like that and shouldn't talk to the president like that. If they can't be be professional they shouldn't be there.

* Some people believe respect is earned. If that's the case, Trump has never earned it, nor will he.
* Some people believe respect is given until you show reasons not to deserve it. If that's the case, Trump has given thousands of reasons to prove he deserves no respect.

But the third and perhaps most important is this:
* Trump has NEVER shown ANY respect for the Presidency. None whatsoever.
In fact, he's already been GRANTED and gifted FAR more respect by the press than he deserves. If anything, they've gone easy on him considering how vile he is and what he's done.

Lifetime, professional reporters have asked him hundreds of questions that deserve truthful answers, only to be deflected or told outright lies. His response to anything he gets caught lying about or unable to answer is always the same: " You're a horrible reporter, you're a shitty person"

If you think that isn't the case, you're an absolutely fool, since years and years of evidence prove you wrong.
