No, considering pretty much everyone I talk to online lives in another city/state/country. I feel it would be pretty difficult for police to arrest someone outside of your area. There was one guy who sent me death threats. I thought about calling his base and reporting him to his commanding officer, but I don't know if he would do anything, and last thing I wanted to do is piss him off more. Online, it's best to just keep blocking them and hope they finally leave you alone

A few times. Last one was for a home invasion. Mr Glock sorted it before cops got there.

Personally, no. I haven't had to call the police over someone online. But if someone was making credible threats, stalking me, or trying to find my real-life location, I wouldn't take it lightly. I'd save the messages and report it rather than trying to handle it myself

Unrelatedly, folks, just because there are so few active users anymore, I'll be leaving the site for good and merrily enjoying being away from it :) back to real life.
