If the US is the most racist, hateful and xenophobic place in the world according to certain people, then why are people fighting to live here?

The question speaks for its self. If the US is so bad, and so dangerous, then why are people from all over the world fighting like hell to get here. Whats more, Our immigration policies are more lax than almost all other countries. For example, if an illegal alien attempts to enter, say, North Korea, its death, Same with several African and middle eastern countries. We just deport.

And believe it or not, Obama holds the record for deporting more people from this country than any other president, yet Trump gets the most hate for it.

• Barack Obama (2009–2017): Logged roughly 3 million formal removals across eight years (peaking in fiscal year 2012 with over 407,000 removals). Critics and immigration advocates famously dubbed him the "Deporter-in-Chief" due to this high volume, which heavily targeted individuals with criminal convictions, particularly in his second term.


• Bill Clinton (1993–2001): Recorded approximately 2 million formal removals across two terms, though his administration oversaw a much larger volume of total border returns and expulsions (exceeding 10 million when combining categories).


• George W. Bush (2001–2009): Accounted for roughly 2 million formal removals across his two terms, significantly scaling up annual deportations year-over-year from about 189,000 in 2001 to over 369,000 by 2008.


• Donald Trump (First Term, 2017–2021): Recorded roughly 1.2 million formal removals over four years, with a peak of about 269,000 in 2019.
