What are some issues you see with MAGA? What makes them a threat to western society?

This question is for those who feel I spend too much time attacking leftists.

Sorry friends, I'm not MAGA, but I don't view them as an existential threat as I do for leftist movements. Stupid and mislead at times? Certainly. An echo chamber at times? Without a doubt. A threat to western society? Not really 🤷‍♂️

None the less, what are some of your criticisms of MAGA? What makes them a threat to western society?

100% of parties and political labels exploit people’s laziness and ignorance, MAGA included. Once a politician identifies with MAGA, they have a guaranteed voting bloc. Nobody is researching the backgrounds and voting records of politicians anymore. They just look for the (D), the (R) or MAGA and that’s all they care to know. Nobody is challenging and criticizing their own affiliations. “We” are only good and “they” are only bad.
Anything and everything that perpetuates that kind of willful ignorance, bias and hypocrisy is wholly detrimental to our society.
I agree 100% with Jesse Ventura. We should abolish political parties and politicians should have to wear badges showing everyone who their financial supporters are; no more anonymous PACs. Every news organization that isn’t telling people what we truly need to know about candidates and elected officials should be shut down. Only because few people have the time to thoroughly research every candidate and official in question during any given election cycle. We used to be able to count on reporters for the straight dope on that sh*t. Now every mainstream news source has its own agenda, and it’s usually directly in line with one party or another. The alternative, of which there are apparently thousands, is some random person running a vlog or a podcast out of their garage or their parents’ basement. They’re probably not part of the same corrupt system that legacy media belongs to, but are they credible at all? Who knows? We are locked into a downward spiral of ignorance, and that’s how those in power like it.
This is the only possible result of long term Tweedism. Most people are incapable of taking or unwilling to take the necessary action to stop the inevitable crash; including MAGA.
That’s my main criticism. MAGA isn’t really different. It’s just a new seasoning on the same ol’ sh*t sandwich we’ve been eating for decades.

Willingness to ignore lawlessness from ICE, including cold-blooded murder of American citizens and shooting of an unarmed man in front of his 5 year old child.

They’re all those things, for sure, but a threat to western society? I wouldn’t go that far. They’re too stupid to know how stupid they are. Low info, low education, combined with their religiosity, which also handicaps them, making them more prone to manipulation and sensation.
They’re more a threat on a domestic level, or regional level I think. The people behind the scenes in places of power, writing policies or exploiting and using the MAGA-TARDs, for example, like the sick-psycho authors of that project 2025 dystopian Christian Taliban movement, are FAR more dangerous to western society as a whole. Or the Steven Miller type of as*hole, who runs an outlier crazy personal agenda, under the guise of national direction, and take advantage of Trump being a dim-wit, and not inclined to having much of an opinion about policy, nor a details guy, and is too busy playing Liberace’s decorator, to give two sh*ts about it.

They're the pinnacle of hypocrisy. They're the first ones to scream fake news, censorship, corruption, stolen votes etc., when they have 0 shame to use any of that themselves and destroy the democratic institutions if it helps them to gain or maintain power. They spread hatred, intolerance and use fear mongering to get what they want.

They want to make America great again, but by attacking their allies, helping their enemies, withdrawing support from countries in need and dividing their own population, they achieved the exact opposite. All of that for some short term personal gains.

I am mostly talking about their political leaders.

Western civilization is meant to be about freedom, democracy, tolerance and being united against nations contrary to said western values.

So, when maga supports entering trade wars or threatening to invade its allies, that isolates us from the rest of the western world. When they seek to strip the rights of women to their own bodies and medical options against what most americans want or support killing or jailing political opponents that goes against freedom and democracy, when you target people's religion or skin tone (rightfully oftentimes) that goes against tolerance. When you make deals with or flatter our enemies, you further fracture our world standing as a western power.

Now personally? Majority of maga is fine, but they have some loud fucking morons that the sensible ones will agree with out of sheer solidarity.

First of all I want to point out that the leftists were MAGA before Trump was.  Ask for your question, I want Trump to switch to this new logo. "MAGA" has somehow become a derogatory term when it shouldn't be.  Look how dumb it would be for a Bidenbot to criticize an America first logo. I'm not saying they wouldn't criticize it, because they will criticize anything they can. But it would make them look dumber than they usually make themselves look when they criticize making their own country number one.  And Trump does go out of his way to antagonize people. He really needs to tone that down.

There's a girl on this website who got banned from Truth Social for simply saying that Trump isn't the best President.
They complain about wokeness and karen culture, but just criticize Trump, the US, Christianity, the flag code or God forbid war criminals (I mean veterans/soldiers) and see how their support of the first ammendment immediately vanishes
