Why do people remember me so easily, even when I barely stand out?

I swear I haven't been to this same gas station in town that many times yet. I typically go to the one closer to work like everyday. Anyways, the cashier who I swear I've never seen in my life was like you get this same thing everyday? Im like yeah pretty much lol. Thats just an example though. Somehow people always remember me. They cashier probably rings up 700 people in a shift. I dont get how they would rember me. Its not like im Ryan Goslin coming in to grab a snack. Im more like Elton John, short and nothing exciting to look at. Lol

There is a pizza place in the town that I grew up in. I have not been there for maybe 20 years but one day I happened to be driving by and I stopped in. It was like going through the time barrier. The place looked exactly the same. It had the same bowling machine, the same metal ceiling and the same sports memorabilia hung up behind the bar. The same woman was tending bar. She comes over ot me and remarks that she has not seen me in a while.

Maybe people in the service industry are just more familiar with remembering people. After all if they dont know your name, then they at least have to know what you look like to bring you your drink

No, but many times im in the middle of some project, so i tend to be a little dirty. I don't know.
