Unless their faces were visible in the pic, (rookie mistake) I wouldn't know they were of my family member, would I? So my immediate response would be to reply "Who are these pics of, and why should I care?"
But if there was no doubt in the pic, like a face etc.. sure I'd look. Out of sheer curiousity, not to jerk off over. I'd probably save them to embarrass the crap out of them later.
Seems like you would have no other choice but to see them first before you realized that you need to delete it. I don't get texts then immediately think, "I should delete this because it might be a nudey pic".
I don't care what they looked like it would be deleted in a heartbeat.

I would delete, and pretend like I never got the picture in the first place. I think that would be the thoughtful solution.
