Is it wrong to Facebook stalk?

Question

i think stalking is wrong and creepy, but it does not stop me from doing the same to my crushes...what do you think? and do you do it too?

Stalking is wrong in the sense that you stalk him constantly and have printed Facebook pictures of him and them all over your wall.

But no, if someone interests me by what they say, I stalk them and creep on how they respond to their comments and get a look see at their uploaded Facebook photos. Lol.

That's what Facebook is for, right? Anyone who denies it, is a liar. Lol.

And yeah, I would stalk my crush. If he interests me I wanna check him out see what he's all about - what his interests are, how he responds to his comments and checky look see at his new uploaded photos lool. I wouldn't stalk him 7 days a week...But I would stalk him more than what I would normally with friends and acquaintances.

I thought this to be normal.

Seriously I doubt anyone with a Facebook has NEVER Facebook stalked...I know I'm guilty of the "who is this girl" "ugh he likes this picture of her!"..."don't comment on his shi*t" lol yeah the voice in my head is very protective lol..and you never know someone could be stalking your Facebook too. This guy thinks I'm not even interested but little does he know... :)

It's harmless until you start causing drama or you know take it you physically stalking like behind trees and stuff lol

But no, I don't. My crush doesn't have FB, but I assure you, if he did I'd be stalking the sh*t out of it. :D

But really, people put their most personal information on FB for some reason and make it all completely public. Public info = not stalking. I think most people do it. You're fine.

I do it to find out if my crush is worth my time or not. Yes, I know people sometimes portray themselves differently online, but it really does show what goes on in their mind.

Yes I have/do it. I think it's kind of natural...Facebook is literally someones life on a computer screen and if you're interested in that person, for whatever reason, you want to see what they're up to and what they do with their lives.

Besides, it's not like you're sat outside their house, they put that information there for people to read. If they don't like someone reading it, well they shouldn't of put it there in the first place!

I always feel really creepy about it, but I can't stop myself. I do it to crushes, friends I haven't talked to in a while, friends' love interests, hell, I even Facebook stalk myself to see how other people would see my profile. The way I look at it, people choose how much of their lives they want to put on Facebook with the expectation that others will look. So what if some people just happen to look a little more than others? :)

Facebook is the ultimate not creepy stalking way! Unless you make it creepy I suppose. People put up things for the stalkage of other people. I stalk people occasionally, it's normal to want to know what's going on in others lives and Facebook makes that doable.

When you hit the "confirm as a friend" button, you're giving the other person full permission to stalk! If you're friends in my book, stalking is fair game(:. I try not to be that stalker... but I have to. The only time I think it's not okay is with an age difference, a 21 year old guy stalking a 16 year old girl? Not okay.

Lol, I admit that sometimes I'll Facebook stalk but I usually have a reason. I'll meet someone that day and catch their name and then go search for them when I get home. Or if one of my friends gets a significant other I go look at their page.
