Am I the only one who thinks Emma Watson is annoying?

I like her in the movies as Hermione, but as soon as you actually see the real her in interviews, she's so... ugh. It's like she's saying "Yes, I KNOW, I really am, THAT amazing." all the time but she's disguising it with other words. Don't take this as a bitter, jealous teenager. It just surprises me that nobody picks up on that! Like the other two HP characters both seem relatively nice, normal guys who don't seem affected by the fame that much and have stayed pretty grounded. I guess maybe it's harder to do that if you're a girl, what with the pressure in fashion, models, the "falling out of night clubs with no underwear" thing. But really, she's annoying!

Obviously, that's never an attractive quality.

BUT, to some extent, you have to give her a break. She's had nothing but 10 years of people all telling her how amazing she is, plus everyone giving her everything she asks for and doing everything for her. If you or I or anyone had that from such a young age, it would be VERY hard not to let that go to your head.

And, yes, girls are definitely treated differently from guys in many cases. Men are always expected to be more responsible and more grounded, even in shallow Hollywood. Girls are "encouraged" just to look pretty and go wild; all the better for the tabloids...

She used to be a lot kinder, warmer, and more intelligent person. Then she got hooked on some singer of a failure English boy-band and completely changed her personality to better match his. Hate it when this happens.

To any other girl thinking of doing this for a guy- You make an AMAZING you, and a TERRIBLE someone else. If some guys wants you to be a completely different person for him, either you aren't a good match and you need to face that, or he isn't good enough for you.

I've never heard her talk outside of movies so I wouldn't know. But what you described sounds like Natalie Portman, that chick literally lives up her own ass.

hahahah I never would have thought that about natalie portman, I always figured she'd be kind of sweet and pure (vegan). but I'll have to see that. but really, watch an emma watson interview and you'll instantly get it!

Yes very irritating. I can't watch any movie with her because she seems so full of herself. And yes she seems horrible human being: I remember watching Oprah once when cast of HP was there and Mattie Stepanek (sick boy in wheelchair that is dead now) came by because he was a fan of HP. Every actor was nice to him except Emma Watson who completely ignored him.
