Do you think men "need" women more or do you think "women" need men more?
Which gender "needs" the other more?
Do you think men "need" women more or do you think "women" need men more?
equal amounts, but in different ways. sorry for the neutral answer, but I don't think anyone can say for certain. in different relationships one may "need" the other more, but it can't be generalised by gender.
men need women more in my opinion.
Care to elaborate/give examples?
I just feel personally that is how it is.

Well you see the thing with sexual reproduction is each gender only has half the chromosomes. In humans it's an even split 23 and 23 for the egg and the sperm =P Outside of that, emotionally both sexes need each other just in different ways.
It doesn't come down to which gender needs someone more, it comes down to which person needs another person by their side.
It all comes down to personality, not gender.
They need each other equally. Why does everyone have this notion that there's never any balance between genders?
I think every person is different.. but for the most part I would say its even
I think it's pretty equal. Down more to the individual than the gender. Both sides have people that are desperate.
Because not everyone is heterosexual, men don't always need women and women don't always need men. However, if we're talking strictly heterosexual people, I would say women need men more simply because without sperm, the egg can't produce a baby. In order to keep the human population alive (until otherwise noted) women need men in order to keep making babies.
but that could be turned around completely. Without women, men couldn't have babies either. This question was more for a "society" point of view, not science. These days, women don't "need" men to have babies (in the sense of a bf/husband etc) they can easily just go to a sperm bank. On the other hand, men will have a MUCH harder time having a baby without a committed female to carry it.
Was that your only reason?
Once sperm banks run out, you're screwed
There's no danger of that.
I'm trying to argue both sides. This isn't a science question, because from that standpoint, it's entirely equal (23 chromosomes from each). This was more referring to modern society.
I think if I asked this question 50 years ago, it would definitely be women needing men more, but it's shifted I think to the opposite today
If there's no men around, sperm banks are gone
OH MY GOD. lol, ignore the science of it. Forget about sperm/eggs. It's already well known that you can't make a baby without a sperm, and you can't make a baby without an egg. That's been proven lmao.
I'm talking from a societal standpoint, ie in relationships, etc. Which gender needs the other more. Stop talking about sperm banks, that's NOT the question haha.
@QA: Well, when you take everything into consideration in this question, you have to remember the science part of it as well. As far as other things, women still need men. Without the emotional support of men, women would probably self destruct.
@Landingsight: Then it becomes a question of ethics. Is it ethical to go through with that process and in my opinion, it isn't
This cannot be answered.
Men need us
Oh Kain, it seems like you're always stalking my answers. "WHAT DID CALI POST TODAY. WHAT DID CALI POST TODAY!" :)
I am only kidding, don't take it personal. Anyway to answer your question, men need us more than women need men because... who would you have sex with? how would you reproduce? you're physical creatures, you need b00bs and a$$es at the end of the day, and on and on and on. Yeah, there are solutions to everything I just listed, but it's never too good if it's not coming from wome
women
Sure, but that's not actual real life satisfaction, unless you freaking do your screen, then that's totally up to you lol. Women do need men, but when comparing, if you really really realllly think about it - women now are self- confident, hard workers, and successful
what coolbeans said...
Men need us.
What makes you say that (just trying to get more insight)?
