treat people the way you want them to treat you... tell they treat you in such a way that "they don't want to be treated nicely." (I hope that came out the way I intended)

do my best not to steal (includes borrowing without asking)

I understand some people have it rough and stealing is the only way they can feed their self

do my best to stop rumors. I hate people that gossip and spread useless/hurtful rumors.

this is more a follow up to the last one, if I hear something about someone that's profound try to find the source of the information to get the true facts.

I don't like the notion of having hard and fast rules for myself...they're more like guidelines.

I guess I'm a bit of a pirate like that.

I wouldn't want to intentionally cause someone great harm without cause.

(ex: defense)

I don't bad-talk, harmful gossip, bully, none of that negative, unnecessary, verbal drama/trauma.

And just in general: be a decent, intelligent person.

It's hard to not break rules, but these are the ones I try to uphold:

1. Do not harm others intentionally

2. Do not lie.

3. Have an open mind/Live and let live.

These two can really hard for me, but it's always in my mind

4. Don't be intellectually/spiritually/physically lazy.

5. Don't take the easy way out.

Murder, intentionally

steal

not adultery

take God's name in vain

not worship any other Gods

disrespect my parents or family

harm an animal or child

let anyone go hungry

intentionally harm a person

i don't really have any set rules, I try not to ever hurt anyone close to me on purpose so I guess loyalty but I would be a hypocrite to say I haven't it's just something I strive to do

Never cheat on someone, never have someone cheat on someone else with me.

Never commit murder.

Never commit rape.

Never attack anyone.

Never act macho.

Never be prideful (this one's really hard for me).

that's all I can think of right now... bottom line is I always try my best to smile and make others smile. Don't forget that one smile could make someones day :D

That's it I'm afraid. I don't really have any other moral absolutes. Maybe I can just think of too many conditional circumstances to hold to absolutes.
