Part of me thinks that it implies too much and that it could be creepy.

If she isn't interested she will find them creepy.

It definitely depends on the context and what the winky face is implying. It also depends on how much you are using it. Don't use it in every text. Use it sparingly, please.

I myself don't think so. Just don't over use it, my guy uses it all the time he is implying lol but not the point. He has always done it. Make sure she responds with it also though.
