I was passing by my middle school recently with the bus and the 12-14 year old girls that went on looked like they could be 20! They looked older than me tbh. 😩 All the perfect makeup and contouring. And their conversations were like "omg your IG post yesterday, ass looked so fucking big, babe you so thiccc" 😍

Can't stress how true this picture is tbh (I seriously have pics like the top pictures 😅).

Like they look so olddd, Im having 13-14 year old boys hitting on me these days because they think Im probably their age (cause Im short), and when they get to know my age they're like oh shit, really? Wasn't like that AT ALL when I was 13.

Im pretty sure its good to go through the awkward self discovery stage so you eventually become your own person, nowadays these girls are trying to look like every instagram model out there, and look "thic" like they do in the music videos and instagram. To be honest when I was 13 the bodies of women in media didn't even bother me or my friends one bit...

They're just so look and social media obsessed and stressing about everything looking "on fleek", I don't really see them living their kid life while they can and they look like they're in SUCH a damn rush to grow up and being obsessed about being Insta famous and "dating" a guy with a six pack /or a girl with "curves"...

Is this something that happens for every generation or is there something about the age of heavy social media that are changing kids? Will these girls look back at their old pics and look at them the way I look back in my awkward phase or not?

Disclaimer: Yes I know not every preteen and teen out there is like this but many are.

Basically, like is someone hot more likely to get better service , attention , help even?

Apparently many studies show this, whether you believe hot people are treated better.
Taller men (tall men are generally seen as more attractive) usually are paid more.
Thinner women (slim women are generally seen more attractive) are on average paid more.
And yes both of those take skills, education, etc into account.
Teachers give attractive students more help and attention, and even better grades!
Women with larger breasts are given more tips (well, duh, I don't know why a study is needed for this).
Etc. Etc. Etc.

Personally, I do think there is a bias for attractive people. You dont really need studies to show you when you see men holding doors open for you when you are dressed up, but then let it slam in your face when you look like a mess (yes, this has happened to me! lol it was even the same guy!) You can tell when teachers ignore you and favor other children. I'm sure many guys can tell when if you are to ask a girl out in an outlandish way you're considered the creep, but if a hot guy did it, he's soooo sweet and romantic.
We all favor attractive people, and we all maybe subconsciously treat them better, whether we want to or not. So before you go hating on the people who treat attractive people better and sure that may mean that we won't be favored in many situations, but remember that we're only human, we're predisposed to see beauty=health.

My roommate is a total nut job. She's used a guy to get pregnant so she could get money from the government. She was failing all of her college freshman classes so she figured since she had to drop out and had no other goals in life she'd get pregnant and live off the government. She was literally planning this for months because she told me she wanted to get pregnant beforehand but I never thought she was serious.

She would take prenatal vitamins and go out with this guy white guy she didn't even like just so her baby could have good hair. She's black fyi (not that it matters but just describing her). One day she told me she was ovulating so she was gonna call him over and that she needed the room to have privacy. I just rolled my eyes and went over to my friends because I honestly didn't think she was that nuts but she legit is.

This was a few months ago before the semester was over, now i just saw she uploaded pictures of her bump right before we were supposed to return to school for the fall semester and I asked her what happened and the guy was dad and what she planned on doing and she outright told me not to tell the dad but I feel he has the right to know what she did and that he's going to be a father or should I not get involved? Should I tell Jake because she won't or stay out of it completely?

I know she told me not to but I feel what she's doing is horrible but I didn't have the courage to confront her on it because we were somewhat friends before.

Here's the convo I had with her last night. What should I do?
