Eve Carson, 22 y/o, she was class president, top of her class and a straight A student who was loved by everyone she came across and never made anyone feel like an outsider. Her academic success was so great that she got full scholarship to both Harvard and Yale. In addition to her academic success, she was also class president and was a humanitarian, who travelled to developing countries to teach and provide aid to children. Eve's life goal was to do medicine and at the time of her death, she was studying pre-med at the University of North Carolina.

In 2008, she was targeted by two criminals, who were looking to rob her. They broke into her apartment and kidnapped her then stole money from her account (~1400 USD). Once, the daily limit was reached, they then walked her out to an intersection, in a woody area, and killed her. Before, they shot her 4 times, it was said that Eve had asked for them to pray with her, when she realized they were going to kill her. Her body was discovered the following morning.

For the next couple of days, the two killers continued to take money from her account, which eventually allowed police to track and find them. Both men were sentence to life in prison and the entire nation of North Carolina moaned for her death. Her funeral service was one of the biggest ever seen in the state at the time. Posthumously, the dean of the university that Eve attended, awarded her the title of most exception female student of her graduating class. In addition to this, a scholarship and a memorial garden were also created to honor her. Eve was so well loved that even to this day, people still know of her name on campus and remember her fondly.

Republican Congressman Complains Biden Has A Bias Against White Male Judges

Rep. Glenn Grothman (R-Wis.) has apparently found fault with President Joe Biden’s choice to appoint a diverse range of judges to the overwhelmingly white and male federal bench.
On the House floor on Thursday, Grothman said Biden had appointed just five “white guys” out of 97 judicial appointments in his first two years in office, citing an unnamed study.

“I was expecting maybe 25 or 30 were white guys because I know President Biden wasn’t heavy on appointing more white guys,” he said, adding that two of those “white guys” also happened to be gay.

“So [it’s] almost impossible for white guys [that are] not gay apparently to get appointed here,” he continued.

According to a January report by The 19th, the federal judiciary consists of about 800 active judges — 46% were white men, 23% were white women, 16% were men of color and 14% were women of color.

Moreover, an April report from Lambda Legal found that just 2.2% of judges on the federal bench are openly LGBTQ, which is just a 0.6% increase from last year. The report adds that there aren’t any openly bisexual, transgender or nonbinary judges on the federal bench.
But that hasn’t stopped Grothman from criticizing Biden’s judicial choices. In March, he called the appointments “a little bit scary” and raised the possibility that the president was “actively discriminating against white heterosexual men.”

I have started seeing so many people find men over 40 creepy or annoying. I used to think I was the only one, but it seems like there are a lot of people who have the same thoughts about them.

I ask because someone told me that was what she was, here on GAG just a few minutes ago. I responded by saying that the concept itself wasn't exactly very well defined, and at the very least required some context and a little more information in order to make any amount of sense (ex. political freedom, personal freedom as encapsulated in the concept of bodily autonomy, freedom of movement and so on).

This is about the likely Republican candidates, not about Democrats. Insist on talking about a Democrat and you disappear from here.

Should I delete all of my social media? I am getting bullied and I am very vulnerable. I have no friends at all. I am autistic. Girls from the South are bullying me on TikTok because I am an Armenian guy from California. I really f*cking hate the South.

Unfortunately, things have been too distracting for me. I have been letting social media get into the way of my online gaming schooling which I have to take a class four hours a day Monday—Thursday, and I have therapy at least two days a week. I am so much busier than the average 23-year-old guy.

I have court coming up soon, my mom and my stepdad are already in the hospital, and I really hate having to seek validation these days. I hate western social media apps, I just wish there was one exclusively for Armenians/Arabs.

I have been getting bullied, I have had a lot of outbursts and I hate seeing people follow cringey trends and this one piece of sh*t attention wh*re followed back EVERYONE EXCEPT ME that was participating in this "use this template, etc and you get a follow back." And I lost my sh*t.

There's now a GoFundMe for the woman in the viral Citi Bike dispute that aims to help her fight being branded a 'Karen,' and it's raised over $110,000

People are giving thousands of dollars to a woman who was involved in a viral Citi Bike dispute in New York City.

Sarah Comrie, a hospital worker, was filmed having a heated disagreement with a Black man over a Citi Bike in Manhattan on May 12. The video divided the internet but Comrie has her share of supporters, some of whom believe she was wrongly accused.

One of them is Comrie's uncle, Bob Roe, who started a GoFundMe for her on Friday titled: "Help Sarah Comrie fight being branded a 'Karen.'"

Roe wrote on the GoFundMe page: "Sarah is a dedicated healthcare worker who is six months pregnant. She holds racial justice and equity dear, and has dedicated her life to serving NYC's most challenged individuals."

The GoFundMe, which aims to raise $120,000, has amassed $111,624 at press time through more than 3,100 donations.

Roe wrote that the GoFundMe would go to offsetting Comrie's legal bills and help her "save her livelihood and her reputation."

Comrie came under fire on social media after the video of her dispute with the unnamed Black man went viral. The clip showed her repeatedly screaming "help" and appearing to cry when confronted by the man.

Target Removes Some LGBTQ Merchandise From Stores Ahead Of June Pride Month

Target is removing certain items from its stores and making other changes to its LGBTQ merchandise nationwide ahead of Pride month, after an intense backlash from some customers including violent confrontations with its workers.

“Since introducing this year’s collection, we’ve experienced threats impacting our team members’ sense of safety and well-being while at work," Target said in a statement Tuesday. ”Given these volatile circumstances, we are making adjustments to our plans, including removing items that have been at the center of the most significant confrontational behavior."

Target declined to say which items it was removing but among the ones that garnered the most attention were “tuck friendly” women’s swimsuits that allow trans women who have not had gender-affirming operations to conceal their private parts. Designs by Abprallen, a London-based company that designs and sells occult- and satanic-themed LGBTQ clothing and accessories, have also created backlash.
The Pride merchandise has been on sale since early May. Pride month is held in June.

Target confirmed that it has moved its Pride merchandise from the front of the stores to the back in some Southern stores after confrontations and backlash from shoppers in those areas.
Target’s Pride month collection has also been the subject of several misleading videos in recent weeks, with social media users falsely claiming the retailer is selling “tuck-friendly” bathing suits designed for kids or in kids’ sizes.

Conservative Radio Host Issues Chilling Call For What America 'Needs'

Conservative radio host Jesse Kelly, who was a frequent guest on Tucker Carlson’s prime-time Fox News show before Carlson’s reported firing from the conservative network last month, tweeted this week that America “needs a dictator.”
“As the great John Adams said, a free country only works for a ‘moral people,’” Kelly wrote on Twitter. “We are not worthy of freedom. A dictator is coming.”

Another Twitter user suggested Kelly’s comments were “a warning” and not a literal advocation for a dictator.
They asked for clarification.
He responded: “I don’t give clarifications. What I said is right there for everyone to read. It’s quite plain and simple. The perpetually offended dork wing will take it how they take it. The ‘get it’ people will understand it. It needs no further clarification at all.”

There’s no ability to keep massive secrets or even keep people with weird names from leaking documents.
