@cavmanier i was 90-94 lbs from 14 to 19. I was definitely skinny but I didn't want to be skinny. I hated it.
Why did you hate it?
@cavmanier I don't know I just hated being skinny. I felt like I looked like a twig. I was really insecure. I felt embarrassed. I would wear long sleeves a lot and try to look like I weighed more. I tried every weight gaining thing under the sun and it didn't help. I struggled to gain weight for a long time. But I didn't want to gain weight the unhealthy. Finally I was just tired and I tried the unhealthy way and I finally gained weight.
I've heard skinny people say 1,000 that they eat tons but can't gain weight. Weight gain is just a math problem though. They think they are eating a lot but they aren't. I know fat people that said they can eat a box of cereal in one setting for example.A lot of men like thin women though. It's a shame people are able to bully girls into gaining weight.
@cavmanier very true. I barely ate when I tried to gain weight in the past. It was like I wanted to gain weight without the effort. But then once I started counting my calories and having a calorie goal at the end of the day I started eating a lot more. I realized it's easy to gain weight only if you eat unhealthy. I could get two burgers and two fries and a milk shake at some fast food place. That would be 3000 calories. If I ate like that every day even though I know it's super bad for you, the person would eventually gain weight

@cavmanier no o eat healthier now. But I still need to eat a lot otherwise I'll lose weight. I eat 2500 calories now and that maintains my weight

I like to keep in shape and my body tends to be in pretty decent shape even if I do nothing. I had a shoulder issue that limited workout time and some other things I've went through recently so I haven't been active. I'm hoping to be in the future. I'm the rare person that likes to exercise.
@cavmanier you are just like my britger. He injured his shoulder working out too hard and basicslly permanently damaged his shoulder. He can't ever workout again and I feel bad for him because he's been lifting weights for 15 years. It's his passion. What exactly is the issue with your shoulder?
He can't workout forever? 🤨 What the heck does he have? I'm not totally confident on what mine is but I think it's mostly some type of instability and mild adhesion.

Yeah and the appertite is a bit weird sometimes. Sometimes I'm hungry but can't eat (especially in the mornings), but sometimes I just want to eat, even if I'm already full.
