I am a guy wrestler who wrestled co-ed and whenever I wrestle girls I feel like I get hit there on purpose. Do you girls aim for that area on purpose to get an advantage? Our gear is pretty revealing so it’s kind of hard for us guys to protect ourselves.

lol there is a girl on my team that used to tap/slap guys there jokingly in their singlets as a way to flirt with them. She only did it to the good looking guys with big packages.

No, I hit girls there on purpose. Hitting guys there is a mistake. Last time I hit a guy there he went a lot harder on me and I nearly ended up with a concussion. Whereas when you hit a girl there it basically drains the energy out of her. A quick tap is enough to make most girls collapse to the ground, but enough to make most guys very, VERY angry.
Are you a wrestler? That’s true sometimes but it depends on the guy. I’ve lost a few matches and come really close to losing others bc a well aimed hit or even grab on a guy can drain his energy as well and bring the fight out of him. Guys are really sensitive there and the singlet doesn’t provide any protection. For example one time near the end of a round I was hit there by a girl and I was on my knees for almost a full minute. Had the round not ended when that happened I would have lost that match hands down. I don’t play dirty with girls because I don’t want to touch a girl anywhere inappropriate too much and it’s seems unfair bc I’m already stronger.
You aim there on girls in wrestling? Does that actually help you win? I didn’t think girls were very sensitive to grabs and stuff at least. In wrestling I get grabbed there sometimes and it really hurts.

Oh, yeah, a hit, grab, or even a pinch to the groin can basically take all of the energy out of any woman and leave her incapacitated on the floor. It has helped me win in the past, and I’ve also lost matches because of being basically flicked down there. I mean, it’s a weak spot. It’s kind of cheap though, and given your inherent strength advantage I wouldn’t think it’s fair to go for it in your case.
Hmm, I don’t know about a quick tap being THAT effective against a woman I mean I basically almost accidentally punched my girlfriend there one time and she didn’t even react.
But I mean a flick or tap to our balls can have the same effect too. I’m kind of big down there and don’t usually wear a cup so moves there are really effective against me. I’m also tall and strong so it’s an equalizer that the girls use I think even if it is illegal.
I mean come on, you have to admit that us guys look vulnerable down there in our singlet. Especially if the guy is big down there. When you are behind him and he is bent down in a match or on his hands and knees you can see his balls literally hanging down. Doesn’t exactly look like a tough area. We have a big vulnerability. It’s just that if you hit a guy there you better hope it’s well aimed and he isn’t in a good position to retaliate. But like I said I’ve lost to smaller girls before because they got me well in that area.

Oh, it’s definitely “that effective” against women. You might not have punched her quite right, or maybe she’s abnormally tough. In my personal experience, I know a lot of guys who can shrug it off like it’s nothing. It’s important to remember that people, regardless of their sex, who can shrug off groin shots are extremely rare. You guys only look vulnerable relative to someone who has literally no genitals. I could easily say that when you can see a girl’s vulva it looks vulnerable and weak. But to answer your question about whether I use groin hits against guys, absolutely not. While I think the pain is equal in the short term, there are fertility concerns with guys that aren’t present for girls. Also, you need to consider the cultural aspect. With a girl, you’re just attacking her weak spot. With a guy, you’re attacking a weak spot that he has more of an emotional attachment to because it’s his genetic legacy. That just feels like a violation of basic human decency and honestly I felt like shit after I tried unsuccessfully to use that technique to my advantage against a guy. Plus it kinda feels like sexual assault. To summarize, with girls it’s just “hit their off button and they go down.” With guys, it’s “hit a part of their identity and they go down.” But again, there are guys like the one I tried to hit who can just shrug it off like it’s nothing. Even if I was merciless, it’s a gamble.
That’s true actually, you make a lot of good points and I agree it would be risky. I’m the same with women it feels like assault and it feels shitty bc I’m already stronger than them.
And I agree I’d argue it almost feels like you are attacking his masculinity. You are attacking the very thing that gives a man his strength, testosterone, and masculinity.
Like for example, the guy in blue in the picture I have above is really strong but if he is like most guys a hit there in a match would probably bring him down. When you bring a strong guy like him down as a smaller woman opponent like that exploiting what is basically the symbol of his masculinity it would probably make him feel awful or have an identity crisis for a short amount of time. Like he isn’t truly strong, like his manhood makes him weak etc.
I remember I felt like that when a woman hit me there in a match and it sent me down. I was way stronger than her and felt a lot tougher but being exploited like that right on my manhood felt like an attack on my masculinity and I felt weak.
Since you are here and I’m talking to a wrestler I must ask? Do you find think that singlets on guys are sexy? Like how you can see the bulge and stuff like that?
I’m Bi, and I personally think that singlets look really good on both genders if they both are fit and have the right face and body for it. I like how everything is revealed in a way.

Right, like I’m sure a crotch hit of the same force would take any woman down, but it feels like your identities are kind of built around being strong. It doesn’t matter if I’m crying on the floor, but if you are, you look comparatively weak when we consider the ideal of femininity vs the ideal of masculinity. Having a weak spot between my legs has never made me insecure because I’m a woman and therefore I’m allowed to be weak, but for a guy, I can see how coming to terms with not being 100% invulnerable might be psychologically damaging. And yes, I think singlets can be very complimentary to the male physique. Men’s bodies tend to be broader at the shoulders and tapered at the waist, and most clothing hides that but the singlets display it.
Do you find the fact that you can easily see a guys manhood (package) in a singlet sexy if the guy is hot and well developed down there?
I personally find it sexy not only because of the like you said the male figure (which is very attractive to me) but also because when you can make out the position of a guys package and can see it all stick out and hang down and stuff like that I think seeing a guys muscles and figure that is being displayed look so strong compared to seeing the guys manhood which looks comparatively very vulnerable and weak (especially if a man is well developed down there) is a very sexy contrast.
In response to you talking about men. I think a singlet looks very good on women too the way it compliments the female physique. The female upper body is less broad but have wider hips and a more sensitive chest and I like seeing that figure.
Also just wanted to add that comparatively women look vulnerable too but in a different sense. More so than their figure looks smaller and less strong in some cases than a mans and that’s what makes them look vulnerable in a sense as compared to how a man can look vulnerable in a singlet.

I still disagree about the vulnerability point. I mean, we definitely look smaller and less imposing, but as soon as you remember that a single breast punch is enough to take the breath away from most women or that a single crotch slap will end the fight then and there, we look like the equivalent of video game bosses with highlighted neon weak spots lmao. I do think it’s kind of hot when a guy is well developed down there, but even a small bulge isn’t something I’d mind looking at. When you talk about contrast, I think it’s kind of an intimacy thing. A guy can look at my chest and vagina, and I can look at his balls, and we might both be thinking that we could cause each other immense, crippling pain with little to no effort if we wanted to... but the fact that there’s that level of intimacy is kind of hot. I mean, sure he looks vulnerable to me, but I FEEL vulnerable with my weak spots so exposed too.
Yeah I guess you are right, in just wrestling gear though at least I never thought women looked too vulnerable in that way but when couples are just naked then yes definitely lol, I mean then both genders look vulnerable.

The guy in the blue even though he isn’t huge there his bulge basically looks like a target tbh just like you described. Like I don’t blame my girl opponents for aiming there when I’m in a singlet even if it’s cheap. If I was weaker and didn’t care about psychological aspect etc I’d do the same.

It’s honestly a little funny to me, though. Just think about it. I can train my entire life to try to look imposing. I mean I’m taller than most guys, so it would work pretty well. Probably stronger than a good portion, too. I could flex all I want to in the singlet, but if even a child sized opponent decides to so much as tap or flick me in the crotch, I’m hitting the ground with no choice in the matter. And the crazy thing is, the crowd would probably cheer for me if I managed to get to my feet for a while, as if the lightest blow didn’t just completely incapacitate me. And we’d just carry on as normal. People who see past that have to see the irony in it. No matter how hard you train, the crotch (and breasts if you’re a woman) will always be there to humble you. It’s horrible and perfect design simultaneously. I’ll never get too cocky knowing how extremely vulnerable I am 24/7 to have my weak spot exploited, but I’ll never take anyone else as seriously because I know I can exploit theirs. I think when couples are just naked, the vulnerability of the man and the woman speaks to their intimacy. That’s more beautiful than comical to me, I guess.

Ah varsity and junior varsity are just like high school sports levels. It’s for all sports don’t worry about it lol. I just wrestled in like actual competitions with like the singlets and stuff for a little bit in HS and there were some co-Ed matches.

Yeah I’m still masculine and “macho” but I never get dissonance from it bc I have a healthy relationship with my masculinity. I try my best to be tough and strong but I can’t be strong everywhere and I can’t be stronger than everyone. I just try my best to improve myself and my body and even thought I’m sensitive down there I still think it looks really masculine. I have no shame in it, I’ve wrestled a few girls in my underwear before lol (in a friendly/friends with benefits way this wasn’t like an official match) and if I go down then it’s not reflection on my strength. Men and women both have their strengths and advantages I don’t really believe in the concept of a superior gender anyways and I win 90% of the time against women.
@HartleyB Also I wanted to reply back bc I was thinking it is worth mentioning that even though men have that sensitive area I will admit that I think that in combat with strikes to the groin allowed men would still win 90% of the time. Ofc fights are unpredictable and there will be exceptions but this is just what I’ve seen IRL and experienced wrestling my Exes and friends with rules like that.
