It has everything to do with this. I used to watch that competition when I believed that I was welcomed in the country where I live. And also when I was forced to watch.
Then I learned that there was no point of watching it not only because I'm not European but also because I'm not going to root for a team from a country that hates everyone who looks like me.

The team was garbage in that competition, added to the pressure the players felt while playing at home. Neymar was out that game because of the injury, but even if he played I do not believe Brazil would win against Germany, Germany was the favorite team and playing against them hit hard on the players' mindset.
