Is Simone Biles only the GOAT because women's gymnastics is easier than men's?

Men perform in 6 events while women perform in 4. They only share floor and vault.
Women events: vault, floor, beam, uneven bars
Men events: floor, pommel horse, rings, vault, high bar, parallel bars

Overall men have a much more intense time in all around competition. Plus their floor requirements are so fundamentally different than that of women it may be an entirely different event.

If Biles had to succeed on 6 apparatuses as opposed to 4 would she still be the star she is currently?

Having less events doesn't mean easy. There are plenty of youtube videos of male vs female gymnasts attempting to do each others routines for reference, but don't take my word for it, TRY IT and report back how simple it is to be Simone Biles.

I can't do what she does, yet I can't do what. most gymnasts do anyway so it's not really a thing to "I can do it better" it's more "make gymnasts can do it better".

The GOAT means, you are the greatest of all time..in your sport...and for her, that is WOMEN'S gymnastics. Because neither women nor men can officially compete in each others gymnastics meets, she is the GOAT and has worked tirelessly to prove that. Just like with all sports, there are armchair critics who watch and think it's easy, but have never tried to do what these people do themselves so how is it you can truly gauge that difficulty level? Women have broken their necks in this sport which people still argue is not even a sport...to me, at least, that doesn't suggest that there is anything simple or easy about it.

Gymnastics is a sport, cheerleading may not qualify although you do have to be somewhat athletic for it.

GOAT doesn't mean all-around athlete ), it means in a particular sport orvrole. For example Katie Ledecky iscthe GOAT at women's distance freestyle.

i know that. what im saying is, FOR GYMNASTICS, she MIGHT be the goat for GYMNASTICS. But in terms of ALL sports, there is no PERFECT athlete. Just cause Usain bolt is the fastest person in the world doesn't mean he's the be all end all of all sports
